Persistent Homology Analysis for Dense QCD Effective Model with Heavy Quarks

چکیده

The isospin chemical potential region is known as the sign-problem free of quantum chromodynamics (QCD). In this paper, we introduce to three-dimensional three-state Potts model mimic dense QCD; e.g., QCD effective with heavy quarks at finite density. We call it QCD-like model. does not have sign problem, but can expect that shares some properties QCD. Since obtain non-approximated spin configuration where simple Metropolis algorithm work, perform persistent homology analysis towards exploring spatial structure show averaged birth-death ratio has same information Polyakov loop, maximum additional near phase transition.

QCD factorization with heavy quarks

Recent improvements [1] of the next-to-leading log x (NLx) results [2] in the BFKL framework, have stabilized the small-x behaviour in QCD, so that a phenomenological analysis of deep inelastic processes (DIS) seems now possible. However, both the gluon density (satisfying the improved equation) and the impact factors are needed in order to use k-factorization [3] to compute DIS or double DIS p...

Effective Theory for Heavy Quarks

In this series of lectures the basic ideas of the 1/mQ expansion in QCD (mQ is the mass of a heavy quark) are outlined. Applications to exclusive and inclusive decays are given.

Perturbative QCD calculations with heavy quarks

Description of the higher order QCD effects in heavy quark processes is important in view of the improving experimental precision. Ongoing efforts to determine the CKM matrix elements motivate a thorough theoretical description of B meson decays (for a review see ). These studies are made difficult by the complexity of the initial state, however even their conceptually simplest part — perturbat...

Heavy Quarks and Lattice Qcd

The study of flavorand CP -violation is a vital part of particle physics [1]. Often lattice QCD is needed to connect experimental measurements to the fundamental couplings of quarks, which, in the Standard Model, are elements of the CabibboKobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) matrix. Usually the test of CKM is drawn as a set of constraints on the apex of the so-called unitarity triangle (UT). The Particle D...

Heavy Quarks and QCD Matter

I present recent results on the theory of QCD matter production in high energy heavy ion collisions and on the interactions of heavy quarks in such environment. The centrality and rapidity dependence of hadron production is evaluated in semi–classical approach. The energy loss of heavy quarks in matter is computed. The heavy–to–light meson ratio (e.g., D/π) at moderate transverse momenta is dem...
